Packaging and shipping
Cyclohexanol is a high-purity organic solvent and key chemical intermediate, widely used in industrial manufacturing and fine chemical synthesis. As a colorless, hygroscopic liquid with a camphor-like odor, it exhibits excellent solubility in water, alcohol, and ether, making it a versatile raw material for diverse production processes.
Its primary application lies in the production of adipic acid and cyclohexanone, which are essential precursors for nylon fibers and resins. It also functions as an effective solvent in coatings, paints, adhesives, and pesticide formulations, while serving as a plasticizer to enhance the flexibility and processability of polymers. In pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries, cyclohexanol acts as a reaction medium and extractant, ensuring efficient and stable production.
We supply cyclohexanol in industrial grade with consistent quality, adhering to strict international standards. Backed by a reliable supply chain and complete compliance documentation, we provide customized solutions to meet the specific requirements of global customers.

Product Description
Cyclohexanol (CAS [CAS?]), with the molecular formula C₆H₁₂O, is a colorless, viscous liquid with a characteristic camphor-like odor.
It is primarily produced via the hydrogenation of phenol or the oxidation of cyclohexane, forming a key component of “KA oil” (a mixture of cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone).
Our cyclohexanol is manufactured to high industrial standards, boasting a minimum purity of 99.8% and a boiling point range of 160–162°C.
It is typically packaged in durable 200L steel drums or 1000L IBC totes, both designed to prevent leakage and ensure stability during storage and transportation.
As a versatile industrial intermediate, cyclohexanol plays a pivotal role in multiple sectors.
Over 90% of its production is allocated to nylon manufacturing: it is oxidized to produce adipic acid (a core raw material for nylon 66) and converted to cyclohexanone,
which is further processed into caprolactam (the feedstock for nylon 6). Beyond nylon production, it serves as an excellent high-boiling solvent and coalescing agent in coatings,
inks, and adhesives, enhancing film formation and flow properties.
It is also used to synthesize cyclohexanol esters for use as plasticizers in PVC and as fragrance intermediates in food and cosmetic formulations.
