Packaging and shipping
Benzyl Alcohol is a colorless transparent liquid with a mild aromatic odor. It has low volatility, good stability, and excellent solvency, making it a widely used industrial solvent, preservative, and chemical intermediate. It is partially soluble in water and compatible with many organic solvents, resins, and polymers.
It is extensively applied in coatings, inks, adhesives, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. It acts as a solubilizer, diluent, and low-volatility co-solvent to improve leveling, flexibility, and drying performance. In personal care and pharma products, it functions as a preservative and disinfectant. With high purity and low impurity content, our benzyl alcohol ensures stable performance for industrial and formulation applications.

Product Description
Benzyl Alcohol is a colorless transparent liquid with a faint aromatic odor. It has low volatility, good stability, high solvency and mild chemical properties, making it a widely used multifunctional raw material in coatings, inks, cosmetics,
pharmaceuticals and organic synthesis. It is slightly soluble in water and miscible with most organic solvents, resins, oils and polymers, ensuring good compatibility in various formulations.
In coatings and inks, benzyl alcohol acts as a high-boiling co-solvent and leveling agent, improving film smoothness, adhesion and flexibility while reducing volatilization speed and avoiding defects such as pinholes and cracking.
In cosmetics and personal care, it serves as a preservative, solvent and fragrance fixative, extending product shelf life and enhancing stability. In pharmaceuticals, it is used as a bacteriostatic agent and solvent for injections, topical creams and ointments. It is also widely applied in adhesives, dyes, plasticizers and electronic cleaning agents.
For usage, it is usually added directly into formulations at a ratio of 2%–15% according to different applications. It should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated area,
sealed tightly and kept away from oxidizing agents and strong acids to ensure stable quality during transportation and storage.
